Bien podría yo hacer el papel del analista y ensayar en página y media explicaciones de la caída del gabinete Lerner, pero otros lo han hecho ya. En cambio, enumeraré algunos puntos secantes que llamaron mi atención. La versión oficial del gobierno y los principales medios de comunicación (cómo has cambiado pelona, cisco de carbonería) es muy similar: el gobierno fue y dialogó, pero el Presidente Regional y los dirigentes ultras nuevamente impidieron el desarrollo al no ceder en sus radicales posturas. Quisiera matizar esta imagen, pero no tengo cómo. A diferencia de lo ocurrido con Lerner, no he encontrado videos ni audios de la última negociación de Valdés en Cajamarca, salvo esos dos minutos de grabación. El resto no aparece. Los testimonios que he recogido de los asistentes no son muy agradables. Esperemos salga un audio por allí, aunque quizá encontremos a un Valdés mandón que obliga a un dirigente a retractarse so pena de expulsarlo de la reunión por haberle dicho que a él lo habían elegido sus bases, mientras que al Premier…
Descoordinación a la izquierda
Los partidos no solo sirven para ganar elecciones, sino también para tomar decisiones colectivas al reducir los costos de coordinación. Coordinación, precisamente lo que le faltó al ala izquierda en su fugaz paso por el gobierno. No estamos frente a partidos con técnicos y operadores políticos, sino a una suma de individuos con cercanía a algunas redes de técnicos y operadores políticos, muchos de los cuales terminan actuando de manera independiente. Difícil, casi insuperable en el corto plazo.
¿Debieron irse al primer arrebato del Presidente? Existen argumentos para las dos respuestas, y en esa nebulosa individual de izquierda era muy complicado tener una postura común. Sin embargo, dado que la mejor manera de aprender cómo gestionar el Estado es estando en él y que muchos de los izquierdistas que ingresaron carecían de esa experiencia, bien podría pensarse que este fue un error estratégico. En política, como en la vida misma, siempre existen dilemas, y la pureza nunca es una salida realista.

Las obligaciones propias de su cartera les dejaba muy poco tiempo, insuficiente para todo el menudeo político que debe realizarse en un acontecimiento de este tipo.
