Cajamarca: Tensión en Mesa de diálogo
6.00 p.m. Desde las tres de la tarde del día de hoy, en las instalaciones de la municipalidad provincial de Cajamarca, se viene desarrollando la Mesa de Diálogo Nº 2 en medio de un clima de tensión, en la que se debate el Plan de Desarrollo Regional de Cajamarca. Le reunión está presidida por el Ministro de Vivienda, René Cornejo y participan diversos alcaldes provinciales y distritales de la región, así como el presidente regional, Gregorio Santos.
El ambiente tenso comenzó luego de que el ministro Cornejo no asistiera a la reunión convocada en horas de la mañana por Gregorio Santos, los alcaldes y representantes de organizaciones sociales de la región, a pesar de que trascendió que se haría presente. Esta incomodidad se acrecentó aún más con las declaraciones hechas por el Primer Ministro Óscar Valdés sobre el reinicio de las operaciones del proyecto Conga.
Autoridades y dirigentes criticaron esta información, entre ellos el presidente del Frente de Defensa Ambiental, Wilfredo Saavedra, quién dijo: “El Premier no puede declarar que Conga se reiniciará en marzo. Debe saber que la Mesa de Diálogo todavía no se ha instalado. Es lamentable que emita esa opinión, vamos a reclamar sobre eso”, indicó.
Con esa consigna numerosos grupos de pobladores llegaron a la sede de la municipalidad al empezar la tarde. Asimismo, como parte contraria, cerca de un centenar de trabajadores mineros se apostaron para arengar la viabilidad del proyecto Conga. Ante esta situación un contingente de efectivos policiales ha tenido que intervenir para mantener separados a ambos grupos y evitar un enfrentamiento.

El decano del Colegio de Periodistas de Cajamarca, Iván León Castro quién viene participando de la reunión, criticó la realización de la misma: “Es una exposición del Ministro. Parece que está en campaña electoral porque viene haciendo un sinnúmero de ofrecimientos”, dijo en declaraciones a la prensa.

En horas de la mañana Wilfredo Saavedra dijo que participaría en esta reunión, sin embargo, no se le ha permitido el ingreso. Del mismo modo, ha sucedido con el dirigente, Idelso Hernández, presidente del Frente de Defensa de los Intereses de Cajamarca, quién participa de la protesta en las afueras del local municipal.

Como ambas partes sigan de esta manera, la sangre va a llegar al río, es un dolor ver a un país entregado por nuestros gobiernos y que no se pueda decir nada, En Lima sentimos los efectos del cambio climàtico, sin embargo què ceguera la de algunos medios para apoyar una mnerìa a ultranza. La oposición o imposición por principio no logran nada nuevo ni bienestar para nadie. ¿Por qué no aportar y proponer ideas/proyectos de máximo benificio para todos, debiendo incluirse por supesto a las próximas generaciones? El que no tiene propuestas, debe permanecer fuera del diálogo.
Si el agua de los ríos o las cabeceras de cuenca son las limitantes principales para beneficiarnos de las recuros mineros que con abundancia tiene el Perú, por qué no estamos considerando y estudiando ya, proyectos de represamiento de ríos en el altiplano andino (o desviaciones del río como proyecta AAQ en Moquegua), o las soluciones de desalinización del agua de mar con intervención conjunta del Estado, de las empresas mineras y de la misma sociedad/comunidades que cuidan su futuro sostenible? Habrá que reconsiderar algunos proyectos de inversión, tal vez con menor rentabilidad, pero seguros de ganar-ganar.
