La Asociación de Propietarios de Terrenos de Cajamarca, frente a los intentos de invasión que últimamente se han venido dando en diversas zonas, han denunciado ante la Cámara de Comercio y la Producción de Cajamarca y ante la Policía Nacional, que gente inescrupulosa y traficantes de terrenos estarían engañando a la población con la venta de lotes a precios extremadamente bajos. Los terrenos se ubican frente al aeropuerto, cerca a la municipalidad de Cajamarca y las llamadas Pampas de Argentina localizadas por la vía evitamiento Norte.
Hasta el momento no hay ningún responsable. Sin embargo, el presidente de la Cámara de Comercio, Jorge Vergara denunció en los medios de comunicación que habría ciertos dirigentes ronderos que estarían detrás de esto. A su turno Vera Yepes, sintiéndose aludido, desmintió los hechos e incluso insultó fuertemente a Vergara. “Quiero aclarar que estamos en nuestro derecho de expropiar terrenos. No se está invadiendo terrenos nosotros nos basamos en la ley de expropiación”, sostuvo Vera. Pero en otro momento dijo: “Es una infamia total hacia mi persona. Lamento yo que gente mediocre, involucrada en el narcotráfico de tierras esté preparando esta campaña contra mi persona”. Finalmente dijo que sólo era un invitado de la Asociación por una Patria Libre y Nueva que actúa bajo la Ley 27117 de expropiación de terrenos, que serían quienes vienen intentando invadir los referidos terrenos.

El presidente de las Rondas Urbanas de Cajamarca, Ernesto Terrones Saucedo, informó a Noticias SER, sentirse indignado en razón de que el señor Vera Yepes esté actuando a nombre de las rondas urbanas. “El señor Vera no pertenece a ninguna de las 30 bases de rondas en Cajamarca. Este señor trafica a nombre de las rondas sin tener ninguna autorización”, aclaró, exhortando al mismo tiempo a la población a no dejarse sorprender.

El presidente regional de Cajamarca, Gregorio Santos, denunció que miembros del Servicio de Inteligencia vienen diciendo que el gobierno regional estaría detrás de la invasión de terrenos. “Yo niego y rechazo esa acusación y le pido a la policía que detecte y capture inmediatamente a los responsables. Nosotros no estamos para ese tipo de cosas”, enfatizó.
Finalmente, el alcalde provincial de Cajamarca, Ramiro Bardales Vigo, ante la comitiva de propietarios que se presentaron a su despacho, dijo que es respetuoso de la propiedad pública y privada.
